How Many Calories Is Stir Fry

Hello,

We end our holiday at a pace slightly slower. I'm starting to get used to it and the girls enjoy the pool and our moments of girls. We had dinner yesterday in an excellent restaurant where we eat satay cooked on coconut, the best from here I'm sure, and tasting of all the rice here, yellow, red, brown, white. I also eat vegetables braised in coconut milk and taste lots of dishes with vegetables such lemongrass, ginger and full of flavor. Today we are back in Kuta and we enjoyed the pleasures here: fresh fruit juice, pineapple and then cut in front of us, massage on the beach at sunset. Emy even has a massage, she almost fell asleep. Full of people asking us to take pictures with us they are impressed by the small blonde. The old lady who massaged us and gave us a bit about his life. She has to walk one hour to come to the beach hoping for a client or two in his day and then return it must help to keep her grandchildren because her daughters work in hotels and must see to the household and the kitchen for those still at home. Retirees who read me, you're lucky because here in 70 years they still massaging people to great heat, both knees in the sand.

I must also share our evening at the temple in a small village of Ubud. First we dress with sarong, shirt and belt that our new friend Kadet us ready. Unfortunately it can not come with us because she is menstruating. A little later, Emy which includes everything quickly looked at me and said mom you do not go to temple because you are monstrous ... "What I am not beautiful enough? ... "Mom you are not monstrous." Eve and I was laughing when we finally understands what she is saying. Phew I'm not her darling. Our driver of the day (visit the zoo where we flattered lion and tiger, visit soap factory, craft market, etc..) Accompanies us. It happens all well dressed with the offerings prepared by his wife in his hands. It takes pictures and en route to the temple.

Before celebrating, going to see the dancers, our driver friend wants to enter the temple to pray for us. We decided to join him. He explains their belief in three gods who form one (the Sun God, god of water or soil air and God. Before leaving Emy was sad to have lost birds made by Kadet as present for the temple. Fortunately our friend had planned the coup, he gives us each a small arrangement of flowers. In the temple of the hundreds of people gathered, and they knelt before each of us files a stick of incense smoke. He explains that we will do 5 short prayers. The first joined hands to open and empty our souls and the second with the pink flowers in their hands to God, then the 3rd with the blue flowers for the temple, the 4th with 2 kinds of flowers for the community, for everything that is to be good in the world and the 5th to thank God and thank life. Fortunately these are only very short prayers. After the prayers we put flowers in their hair. Then it's a blessing. My friend tells me that many people are here and priests marrying their wives also automatically become a priest. These priests pass through the rows of people kneeling directly on the ground barefoot. (Whew, it's super hard on my knee not fully healed) and bless them with water "holly spring. A blessing to be lucky. With his English and mine, I hope it is understandable. The priest pours water and drink the Hindu three times, then the fourth one is poured onto the head to cleanse, to refresh, cleanse, and make new provisions. Then on his forehead sticks some grains of rice then it is also the solar plexus and you eat one or two. Emy wants to lend to the ritual when Eve refused. Provided that the water is good ... I am assured that it is pure water.

Everybody is kind to us, although it does not go unnoticed. But everyone seems happy to see us take part in their ceremony. They are very attached to their custom. Our friend will drop the remaining offerings in front of the temple and then exit it introduces us to his wife and children. We are now coming out of the main temple to go and join the community to celebrate. Nearly a hundred dancers sit in moving the shoulders around a fire singing. Then we play the part of Ramawa, Eve can tell you better because she read the text several times, not easy to understand everything but the costumes and vocal sounds are great. Fatigue wins my chips but they are so captivated they want to stay a little longer. We must leave before the end anyway because the festivities do not end until dawn.

A wonderful evening which will long be remembered. Bali is so rich in culture, I could go to tell you but I am still taking, I want the girls are resting but I can never be at a restaurant before 20:00 and the service here is super slow. We made it and it even comes to appreciate the pace

Hope to see you again soon, we leave in the night and tomorrow but will be back Sunday night (Monday morning for us here ...)

soon
Sonia
