The Judgement of Solomon .... Everybody knows!
Should we return to history to understand its meaning, yes.
Two women appear before Solomon, each claiming to be the mother of a child in dispute. One pretends
So she gave birth to another and that has delighted children and claimed his own. The other woman denies.
Solomon thought for several seconds and then said, warning, bring a sword, which is cut in half this child, so that each is the mother of a half!
At these words, the real mother throws herself on her knees and begs Solomon: "Please Lord, give the child the woman leaves her life.
Solomon is the wife and said, Thou art the mother of this child, and will take the .....
Every day the newspapers reported similar problems, children abducted by one parent and that justice itself fails not recover, because they are abroad.
problems of custody, visitation. The father should be penalized simply because the infant was given to his mother, the limit is raised by a complete stranger ... with varying degrees of success .....
Little or no regard for the feelings of the child. The judge decides, again for the good of the child?
Nevermind the talking, quarreling parents when responsibilities for the failure of the couple generated but these children ....
Nevermind the case of adopted children, bought, which are then the challenge of fighting words, revenge against a spouse, parochialism so obtuse, that the risks are high that the child pay for this stubbornness.
Never mind, the spirit of revenge obscure reason!
Often, however, the defaulting spouse asks only to see the child 2 to 3 hours. every 15 days. That too, of course, you have to pay surrender, stoned the parent who simply refused, often some form of slavery! What would Solomon
in this case? I do not know, and we could imagine many awards, in the case of arbitrary courts, fair and measured in the case of Solomon.
But we no longer live at that time, laws have been developed, good, worse, downright bad, but for the application.
social services exist, juvenile judges as well.
What about the law on adoptions, child trafficking, the guardianship of the state, the pro-trusteeship, using genetics, what's changed at all these levels?
Parents will really take the chance to see some justice to settle their dispute with peril?
